SURESH. J

is an Advocate having a rich techno-legal experience in the domain of Intellectual Property Rights. He is a qualified and experienced Patent Attorney, specialized in drafting, filing and prosecution of Domestic and Overseas Patent Applications, in areas of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering domains.
He focuses primarily on technologies relating to computer networks, software, process control systems, electrical, electronics, telecommunications and mechanical arts. He counsels clients extensively on intellectual property issues, particularly on framing of IPR policies and IPR Management. He also handles filing and prosecution of Trade Marks, Designs and Copyrights. Suresh also handles IP litigation.
He also has an extensive expertise in handling IP portfolios of US, European, Japanese, Korean and Chinese companies and travelled extensively to these regions to advise and handle IP issues. He is a member of Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA) and actively participates in the meetings and deliberations of Licensing Executives Society (LES) in various countries.
Suresh regularly delivers lectures on IP Laws and Practice in various organizations and Universities in India and abroad including National Law School of India University, Bangalore, Japanese Patent Office (JPO), Japanese Patent Attorneys Association (JPAA), Graduate Research Institute of Policy Studies (GRIPS) Japan, Japanese Intellectual Property Association (JIPA), University Consortium for International Intellectual Property Coordination (UCIP), Yamanashi University and Tsukuba University. He holds Graduate Degrees in Physics and Law and Master Degrees in Law and Russian Literature.

RANGARAJAN. S

holds a Master’s Degree in Technology from IIT, Delhi and has been an engineer over 33 years of rich experience in design, tool engineering, manufacturing engineering, technology transfer, international quality systems, quality control, vendor development/client management, research/development initiatives, from diverse manufacturing industries like auto components, machine tool, tool rooms, switchgear, and refrigeration/air-conditioning. Mr. Rangarajan himself a prolific inventor and provides technical support on matters pertaining to mechanical and electronics disciplines. Rangarajan is associated with technological aspects mechanical and electro-mechanical patents.

AMIT DESHPANDE

is an advocate and Intellectual Property Lawyer who practices extensively before District & High Courts in India. He handles IP litigation on Original side and Appellate sides. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights from National Law School of India. He also teaches at National Law School of India, Bangalore and he is a visiting Professor.

is a child prodigy and an Electrical and Electronics Engineer. He has over 20 years of Research and Development expertise and is a holder of several patents to his credit. Mr. Ravindra is associated with patenting aspects in the technical domain of Information Technology and Telecommunications.

SURESH DORAISWAMY

, an Electronics Engineer (University of Windsor, Ontario, Canada) and holds a degree in Metallurgical Engineering from IIT, Bombay, who has a rich experience in hardware design and embedded software. His skill sets include Telematics, Automotive Networking protocols, fiber optics, Speech Recognition Applications, EMI/RFI Analysis etc. Mr. Doraiswamy, himself is an innovator and has been associated with the field of IP for many years as inventor and technical consultant. Mr. Doraiswamy provides technical support on matters in the field of electronics and metallurgical sciences.

BRINDA VERMA

is an Advocate and Patent Attorney and has over six of experience in the field of IP. She is currently pursuing her PhD in the area of Patent law at NLSIU, Bangalore. She was associated with IP Cell of Indian Institute of Science (IISc.) between July 2007 and April 2013. During her tenure at IISc she was handling technology transfer of IISc. inventions, in addition to Drafting and negotiating research and license agreements, Preparing, filing and prosecuting patent, design and copyright applications personally and via outside counsel. Ms. Brinda holds an M.Sc degree in Biochemistry and Biotechnology from Bangalore University.
She has a Post-graduation diploma in IPR from National Law School of India University, Bangalore and an LLB from Bangalore University. She also has a Post-graduation degree in Business Administration from Symbiosis, Pune. She is a registered Indian Patent Agent and qualified to practice before the Indian Patent office. In addition, she has done various advanced courses from WIPO on Patent drafting, Prior Art search and Biotechnology and IP. She is the recipient of Association of Overseas Technical Scholarship (AOTS) and visited Japan for a training course for Patent Experts. Apart from conducting regular seminars at IISc on IPR, she has delivered talks at various organizations like IISER Trivandrum, Central Power Research Institute (CPRI), Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Indian Institute of Plantation Management (IIPM), Acharya group of Institutions etc.
